enough conviction to preach against worldliness, and if we do that should
tell us something about our spiritually. That is my soapbox. >>
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Brother! I agree with you 100% ! I would
like to say that I am so thankful that my Pastor has taken a stand against
worldliness! He preaches against things that some people might say are
alright. But because of His preaching, it has saved me from making BAD
mistakes in my life.
So what if it can't be found in the Bible! The Bible doesn't come right out
and condemn alot of things! But the precious Spirit of the Lord leads us
and guides us to know what is right and wrong. And this same Spirit will
give us wonderful pastors that will feed our souls and keep us safe from
harm, if we will but listen to them and follow them, as they follow Christ.
If the Lord tells me, when I get to heaven, that I could have made it in and
still done "this or that" I will still rejoice, because I made it in. But
if on judgement day I find out that I shouldn't have done "this or that", woe
is me! I would rather be safe than sorry! These are such little things to
give up for Jesus..........heaven is worth any price! And I want to be
willing to pay it!
Sincerely
Sis. Brenda
