I Jn 5:7
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the
Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. (KJV)

The following is the Assemblies Of God Statement of Fundamental Truths
about their belief in One God. (Revised 1983 General Council)

Start of quote
The One True God
The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent
"I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind.
He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of
relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Ghost. End of
quote

Now you tell me that the One God that you serve is not the Father,
Son, and Holy Ghost.

I attend a UPC church (at the moment) and I was raised UPC, the only
time I have been Baptized in water was in Jesus Name, and I received
the Holy Ghost in a UPC church (1957).

When I went in the military, the UPC abandoned me. We don't believe in
killing, remember?

I went to the Assemblies of God for several years. I love them and I
am thinking about going back. I have studied the Oneness and Trinity
issue for many years. The one thing I know for sure is the difference
between God and the devil. The same God that is in the UPC also goes
to the AOG.

Everyone please forgive me for the way this will come across to some.
The last thing that I wish to do is hurt anyone. If you wish to flame
me, please do so in private so as not to hurt others. Send mail to

I LOVE You,
Floyd Avery
