Well Jerry Moon started this and I came across these at work.
One of the truck drivers here where I work reported this happened. Well,
he has been known to stretch the truth occasionally, but claimed this was
the truth.
Seems he had been driving all day and stopped at a truck stop for fuel
and decided to get a shower before climbing into the sleeper for some
shut-eye.
After getting his towel at the fuel desk was walking down the hall to the
showers when he passed a bank of telephones. A blond was talking on the
telephone when suddenly she hung up and burst out crying uncontrolably.
He stopped and asked what was wrong. She finally told him between sobs,
"My mother just died." He consoled her by the standard comfort that we
all have to go some time and you'll get over the loss in time, etc. She
finally quieted down so he headed on to the shower.
When he came back down the hall, the same blond was on the phone again
and just as he came even with her, she hung the phone up and began
bawling again.
He went through the same routine of asking what was the matter.
Finally she calmed down enough to speak. "This has to be the worst day
of my life. I just got the news that my mother had died and now I called
my sister and now *her mother died too*.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
A policeman had been called to the scene of a shooting. He found a blond
with a hole in her hand.
He asked her to tell him what happened. She told this story. "Well, I
was going to commit suicide so I took a pistol and put it to my chest,
but remembered I would mess up $20,000 worth of surgery. So I took the
pistol and put it in my mouth, but remembered I would mess up $10,000
worth of orthodontics. So finally I put the gun in my left ear and said
as I pulled the trigger, "This is going to be loud". So I put my other
hand over my right ear. Next thing I knew I had a hole in my hand.
