Sis Kathy: I know what you are saying. I have worked full-time since I was
16.
I will be 42 next month.
You know what else "bothers" me? You have 20% of the women in the
Church doing 80% of the work. As Ladies Auxiliary President
of our Church, I always find it amazing how so many of the working women
come out to help (after working at a job outside the home all day), when
some of those stay at home mommies always have an excuse not to help.
They are simply "too busy". If some of them would turn off the TV's in
their
homes it would be amazing how much more free time they would find! Now
before you stay at home mommies get mad at me, please don't! I said
*some* not *all*. I admire women who make the choice to sacrifice many
the nonessentials of life to be full-time moms. I have a nine year old
daughter
and there have been *many* times that I have felt that she has been
short-changed by my career. It has made me all the more conscious to
be there for her when I am home.
