This is really wierd.

As I normally do on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I work from home
and telecommute to work. While I was telecommuting (working
at home) and I had a tv on for *noise* off the side of my
computer, about 15 feet away across the other side of the room,
news special reports started to be broadcast with the mention
of a "Key Bank" in Carmel, IN (on west Main St.) had a bank robbery
that was reported to 911 at 9:06am est. The initial report said
there might have been as many as seven people that were shot.

As the details unfolded, a lone gunman when into the bank, demanded
the money, was given a *bag of money* that explodes with a die to
mark the suspect, and then the bag exploded. When that happened
the gunman killed one bank employee (female) and wounded three
other employees before fleeing the scenes on foot. He had at least
one accomplice in a off-purple colored Chevy waiting in another car.

The bank employees have been rushed to hospital where one is in
critical condition.

Then at about 10am-ish, the special report switched to coverage as
the local sherriff's cornered and wounded a bank robbery suspect
which has been taken to a local trauma unit that has a *lockup*
for criminals that need medical attention.

Then it wasn't known for another half hour or so that the suspect
that had been transported to the hospital was a bank robber of a
second bank (Peoples Bank near the corner of Michigan Road and 89th
Street) that was robbed within an hour of when the other one (Key
Bank in Carmel) was attempted.

USA Today has the story correct at:

     http://www.usatoday.com/news/nds10.htm

CNN says the suspect that was *shot* was the suspect of the Key
Bank aprehension.

The Indianapolis Star & News report this of the
Key Bank holdup:

...and this of the Peoples Bank holdup:

    http://www.starnews.com/news/metrostate/98/apr/0430SN_peoples.html

This is really wierd....

Sis. Donna, I sure hope this bank-robbing crime wave
hit in your parts of WVa.
