We started attending Cornerstone UPC-Lufkin, TX- in Sept of 1997. The first service
we attended had about 30-35. Easter Sunday we had 110-our goal. We are running
50-60 on average each Sunday now. Our pastor, Bro Nathan Scoggins, has put up a
banner that reads " This kind cometh...Prayer and Fasting." He encourages us to
pray and fast weekly and asks us to accept a challenge of inviting 10 people to church
each week. It's working, not because of us but because of God's faithfulness.

Keep praying and fasting. There are hungry souls out there and you will see an increase
if you remain faithful in your work for God. The people you ask to church may not
come but may inadvertently say something to someone else that will accept the seed
you planted and come themselves.

God Bless you as you work for Him.
