Anytime you take it upon yourself to pray against spirits

YOU MUST CONTINUE on a regular basis as the enemy maybe
defeated in one situation, but will continue to come at you
in another.

Once taken up, spiritual warfare must continue.

I have seen sisters in one church who took it upon themselves
to do spiritual warfare for the church. There were at least 3 involved.
It was great as long as they continued. Then one had to move and the
other two let up, in a matter of months all three were backslide and
gone.

IMHO, I believe spiritual warfare is a calling to some, but not all,
it is draining spiritually as well as emotionally and physically.
It is also addictive. There is no better feeling than to spend time with
Jesus and feel that you have done work in the spirit.

My wife is one of these type who pray deep in the spirit for long periods
of time. I watch her to see how her strength holds up.
If I notice a change in her strength or ability to sleep, I ask her to
slow down or stop for a period of time , to recharge her emotional
batteries. As her husband I am her head and have that authority
to intervene. I do not have that authority over anyone other than
her. If I were a pastor, then I would have the right to guide the saints
of God.

I am not trying to discourage anyone. Just make sure you have the
authority or calling to be in this type ministry.

Henry
