I will stick around another couple of days. I mostly retrieve mail from H-F to
see if there are any good jokes or inspirational stories that I can share with
my other e-mail friends. Some of this stuff I send out turns up in my pastor's
sermons (I have a new church home and pastor), and he appreciates me.

I'm no longer a part of an elite Oneness-Apostolic congregation. I got tired
of the snotty attitudes accompanied with lack-luster worship. I now belong
to a "ministry" where the people just love to worship and praise God, and
where the Word of God is going forth under the anointing.

I've seen GREAT improvements in my spiritual life since attending this
particular church. A lot of religious strongholds have been and are now
being torn down in my life (go chew on that one). My "Apostolic Arrogance"
is being healed daily, and I'm now actually witnessing to the lost souls
with whom I come in contact in my daily goings.

Everyone with whom I come in contact is a candidate for Christ, and I keep
a handful of church invitations on me at all times...check out at the grocery
store, they get an invitation...drive through window...they get an
invitation...
with the tip in a restaurant, they get an invitation.

As Apostolics, we're so concerned with our dress code and the length of our
skirts and how many buttons on our shirt are open, that we cannot take the
time to introduce a hurting, dying soul to Jesus Christ. And I'm not
bashing...
I've been Apostolic ALL MY LIFE...and that's just the way we are! But I, for
one, don't have time for all the religious games...I'm about winning souls. I
tell them to wear what they have on...be it pants, mini-skirt, or even shorts
and t-shirt...just COME AND MEET A MAN!

If I was to tell you that I want you to meet this great friend of mine, but
first
you have to put this on, and take this off, and when you get to his house,
you have to sit this way and make sure you don't say this, and NEVER
touch this, and make sure you do this, this and this. Know what? I wouldn't
even want to go...how great a friend can he be with all those rules?

But I submit to you, that I have this great friend that I want you to meet,
and
I promise you, you will like Him, you'll get along, and He will be your friend
forever, unconditionally. And as you grow to know Him for yourself, and you
begin to develop your own relationship with Him, you will notice that you will
start to become quite a bit like Him.

Better get your focus on Christ and the work of Christ, lest you be
disappointed
come judgement day!
