I think this is a lesson my family had to learn the hard way. My uncle
married a very sweet pentecostal lady. She moved to our church who has
standards, but they are not preached every Sunday. One day she asked my
mom where her "list" was. My mom questioned her and finally found out
that her previous paster handed out a list of "rules to live by"
monthly. All of the church members followed those rules closely are
they were deemed unholy. Today, my aunt no longer follows the
Pentecostal standards. The saddest part is she is allowing her two
young daughters to do the same. My uncle travels a lot so he has very
little say in raising the kids. We pray for her daily, and I am not
telling you this to condemn her, but rather agree with the above
posting.
Holiness cannot be taught, caught, or bought, it is a gift from GOD!
