Dave:
First of all, every church has a Brother or Sister Bucketmouth who gets
on the Hallelujah hotline and calls their "gossip" friend or friends
waiting to hear juicy gossip. All churches have at least one. It doesn't
matter if you're Apostolic, Methodist, Baptist, etc. The fact of the
matter is that it unfortunately exists. Does it make it right?
Absolutely not!

I understand Tyler's remark and have to say that it is true more often
than not unfortunately. In my own personal life, I don't tolerate
slander and gossip. When people come around wanting to bad mouth
someone, I tell them "Have you talked to Jesus about it yet?" Sometimes
they say "Yes". I then ask "Well what did He say for you to do?" At this
point, they stop.

Also, someone posted a comment about Bro. Tyler's jokes indicating that
the Apostles never joked. Well, you must remember that not everything
was written in the Bible about the lives of the Apostles, not every jot
and tittle. It would be hard for me to believe that the Apostles and
even Jesus Christ didn't have a sense of humor. I believe they did. I
believe God does have a sense of humor. If He didn't then we would not
have a sense of humor, clean humor mind you.

Tyler, you've got a character of God...a sense of humor! I think that
there are too many long stone faces that does not reflect the joy of the
Lord. So many people who claim to be filled with the Holy Ghost look
like they've been baptized in lemon and pickle juice. Let's lighten up
and smile...it'll do our faces some good :)
