You are entitled to your opinion.
I expressed mine and stand by it.
This was a matter of disagreeable behaviour that one saint did and
another objected to. And according to the bible If I was the very
*least* in the church I ought to be able to judge what is right and what
is wrong.
(between a brother or sister and help them to settle the matter, and
prevent them from takeing their problems to a unchristian person, or
judge.)
I am not passing "JUDGMENT" per say on the person, but judging wether
the thing done was right or not.
And that I fully believe God intends us to know the difference between
right or wrong and make a decision regarding it. (Also known as a
judgment?)
Not knowing if this will be posted before my "unsubscribe" request takes
effect, I close in saying Jesus hates sin, but loves the sinner. I will
never condone something that is scriptural unsound or morally wrong and
I do not appreciate "sordid jokes and unseeming behaviour".
Condemn me if you wish, but then who is judging who.
I wonder really what you would call it when you read my post and then
wrote your opinion?
Didnt you judge me by what I had written and what you thought I meant?
And you cleverly put me in my place also, but thats okay.
I can handle it.
> I sure hope you do not condemn anyone..
> Romans8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in
> Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
> Romans 8:33,34"Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect?
The above scripture speaks of spiritual condemnation.....
THe sin of adam and sins that each person has comitted that repented of.
In this case, no one was laying any "charge" to Gods elect , the elect
had made a boo boo.
He Did the bible thing to do and asked for forgiveness.
I believe SIs, had written her response before she ever read his
apology.
"And the error of his ways" was shown to him by a elder as is
scripturaly sound.
since his BOO BOO was public, it was publicly brought to his attention
and he publicly apologised to the church as is the bible way.
> > 1 Cor 6:2 " Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and >
if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the >
smallest matters?"[ME:most saints are quick to fall into judging the
world...and if you do judge the world ..then you are unworthy to judge in
the smallest things]
> <SNIP>
> > 1 Cor 6:4 "If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this
> > life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the

> > 1 Cor 6:5 "I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise >

Its In THE BIBLE.......What else can I say?
It means what it says.
And I wont "cut" it out and throw that part away.
Take all the scripture and then Rightly divide.
God Bless.
