JUDGE...a bad word, or a command?

YOU:
Maybe you should re think your opinion...we *are not given power of
God
to judge among bretheren*...please read again and try not to find
scriptures that give us the right to judge!
ME:
Ok...here we go...another judging post...I guess will be in this
thread for another 6-7 months...and by the time it dies down, we'll
have a person who receives the digest late start it up again.
However, the Bible clearly states NOT to judge according to the
fless or personal opinion. However, the Bible also cleary states that
we are to judge righteously. How else are we to tell our bretheren,
"I think that maybe you should re-think your actions." We must
"JUDGE" (Christian's think it's a bad word) our children's actions
and and make righteous counsel with them. We are to voice our
opposition to the government that what they are doing is wrong and
that we arrived at this conclusion by judging righteously with
Biblical principles. I'll only quote one scripture, as I know no one
likes to read endless lists of scripture...BTW: This scripture is
speaking about judging lost people....
John 7:24- Judge not according to appearence, but judge righteous
judgment.
This verse makes the 2 points that Christians are to take into
consideration:
1) We aren't to judge according to the flesh
2) It is our duty to judge righteous judgement...

I affirm the biblical foundation for a relationship with God: We are
to turn away from doing wrong, be baptized in the name of Jesus in
accordance with scriptural examples, receive the marvelous gift of
the Holy Spirit, and embrace a daily walk with Him. (See Acts 2:38)
