Bro Josh,

I will pray.

We have youth in our church with similar situations, several of whom
are about your age. Two of our teens were not permitted by their
mother to come to church for several months, but she had a change of
heart recently and relented. Have faith, Brother, and the Lord will
see you through.

I think the biggest thrill I've had in my life is watching somebody
I've witnessed to experience the wonderful new birth experience.
This is so exciting!

A couple of weeks ago, I sent a prayer request regarding my wife's
step-mother, Cora. Well, we left town in a hurry a week ago last
Friday night and drove 850 miles to Wichita Falls. Family flew or
drove from New York, Nebraska, Childress TX, and Abilene, since the
report we had was that she wasn't going to make it for much longer.

We drove straight to the hospital, went up to intensive care, laid
hands on Cora and prayed. The next day, she was sitting up, eating
and talking. The doctor was talking about releasing her to a regular
room.

But then on Tuesday things took a major turn for the worse. Cora had
tubes and wires going every which way, and the doctors called the
family in. The family was expecting to spend Easter burying Cora. But
Sara was praying at the bedside, I was praying at my father- in-law's
house, my pastor was praying, and the UPC pastor in Wichita Falls was
praying. And again, Cora recovered MIRACULOUSLY. When we left Friday,
Cora was almost to her old self. All the tubes and wires removed
(other than a couple to monitor BP and such).

Praise the Lord Hallelujah \o/ Thank you for your prayers you all.

While I was in Wichita Falls, I attended the revival services there of
course :-) Life Tabernacle UPC in Wichita Falls is in their 5th month
of revival services with Evangelist Terry "Preach More" Creekmore.

Wichita Falls is where my wife and I were baptized in water and spirit
and where we were married a few years ago. The revival services were
fantastic -- people are being baptized and filled with the spirit. It
was truly rejuvenating to visit "home," and it was good seeing the
Spirit moving there.
