| Why *NOT* Amway?
Because Amway doesn't market that particular product.
| Don and Ruth Storms have a great fast growing group
| in Cincinnati.
I know all about them and their 34,000 square foot waste of space "house"
they have. Think of all the missionaries they could have helped with the
money they spent on that place.
What do you know about Amway anyway?
My parents have been in Amway for years. My husband and I were in it for a
while too until we began to wonder where all the hundreds of dollars spent
on books, tapes, and seminars was going. Answer: into the pockets of the
"higher ups". They don't make their millions from the "system", they make
it off the side business of "continuing education".
I think it is a great
| opportunity.
Any well-organized multilevel marketing or direct sales company is a great
opportunity. You just have to find what works for you. (And unless you've
seriously researched other opportunities (such as Enviro-tech
http://www.enviro-tech.com) I won't buy the "Amway is the only winner out
there" or "you just weren't in it long enough". How long does one have to
be "in" a business before they understand it? Why are Amway distributors
told over and over not to mention the name "Amway" until the prospect is
sitting in front of the white board in a living room? Why were people who
had achieved "high" ranks in Amway all of a sudden suing the company?
(There are many many legitimate pending lawsuits against Amway. They don't
want distributors to know that. The reason no one hears anything is
because Amway can buy their way out of trials with settlements.)
Sorry for the "tone", but a little research goes a long way. I don't know
of very many people in Amway who actually researched the company long and
hard before signing up. I know of many people who have quit Amway after
researching the company long and hard. Envirotech encourages research. No
one has discouraged me from going to the library and looking up random
info. on Envirotech. When Carl and I did this in Amway, every single time
we saw a disturbing report (no matter if it was from CNN or a former
distributor) the answer was always the same: They're just losers who
wouldn't make it work.
I also like Envirotech for its products. They are unique (waterless car
wash, for example. It's the most amazing stuff I (or anyone I demo for)
have ever seen). In this business, you can sign up and make your money
back that same day. You start out earning 24% off of every bottle of
product you sell (much better than $6 per every approx.$100 you spend,
IMHO). Also, there isn't anyone calling you a loser behind your back just
because you can't afford a seminar or "winter growth" or the latest
book/tape/etc. (happened a lot from what Carl and I saw). When Carl and I
quit the business, all of a sudden, our so-called "friends" from Amway
totally ignored us.
To each his own, I guess.
