I understand advertising affects people, the medium doesn't matter. The
proof of its ability to affect people is the cost structure of
advertising. Peak audience costs more. National costs more than regional
which costs more than local. A 30 second slot on the Rush show costs more
than 30 sec on ESPN at 2am.

Not possible, x == TV , y == evil content, z == computers. Any argument
against TVs applies moreso to computers. Both are technology. Both are a
collection of parts. Both have good content. Both have bad content.
Both have more bad content than good content. If one is bad, both are bad.
The problem isn't TV, the problem needing to be addressed is one of
personal responsibility. Maybe some want to be told item xyz is okay, yzx
is bad, and zxy is neutral; I don't, God gave me the Holy Ghost and a
brain - he expects me to use them.
