The reason they do not want to recognize baptism as part of salvation is:
It requires them to do something other than believe.
God does all the action and saving from their belief.
It would require another person to be present at their salvation,
and salvation is ONLY a personal thing.
I was raised in this persuasion of being baptized only to become a part
of the Local B.. church and it was not a salvation issue
and they baptize trinity.
I was delivered 35 years ago, thank God!
