Sis Lisa
I agree that we live in a Homophobic world, I live in the San Francisco
Bay area, which is without a doubt the most sympathetic place in the
world when it comes to the Gay Life stile.. I agree that we as Apostolic
tend to ignore this segment of the population for many of the reasons
you cited above. Its a shame!
You made it clear in your post that you DO NOT accept the Gay life
style. But....
as for your "Christian Fellowship" Im not sure as I posted earlier this
week that being part of such a fellowship is a good Idea for us
Apostolic. Our acceptance of Sin in the lives of other "Christians" is
re enforce because we look at there apparent relationship with God and
there devotion, and there Sincerity and and and we over time accept them
as Christian Sisters... Someone posted a list of Oxymoron's this AM. We
could add one more to the list... * Christian Lesbians * There is no
such thing.
I have a good friend in our church who is on staff as a chaplain at a
large Hospital locally. As part of his duties he fellowships the other
Chaplains (from other churches)
He is a good man! Loves and serves God in the truth But.... If you
talk to him long you will hear things like ... Bro. so and so from the
Baptist church, or that we visited with Bro. Jones at his AOG Church to
hear him speak, Etc. He has accepted this group as "Fellow workers in
the gospel" They are NOT! But he has rubbed shoulders with them for
several years now, and has the feeling that... "well I know the truth
but these men love God to... Lets let God deal with them. These men do
good!"
Association leads to familiarity and familiarity to acceptance... Be
Careful!

I agree... lets just class them as sinners and do what we can to change
that fact ok.
When a Homosexual is saved they put away there perversion just like a
drunk, or a Druggy or a thief or any other kind of sinner.
