Two Questions

1. What were you doing watching TV.
2. Is it good to watch/Listen to any preacher who we know is not
teaching the truth?

 Romans 16:17-18
17. Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and
offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
18. For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their
own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts
of the simple.

1. The TV Issue has been beat to death I wont chase that one. The one
note I will interject is that many of the denominations mentioned in
this post had Holiness standards similar to where we are now 30 years
ago when I got into Pentecost. (Oar's were much stronger then.) I
believe that the constant exposure to worldly things is what weakens the
moral fiber of any people over time. Television does that. If we do
the same things they did (Let up in the same areas, We will end up in
the same situation as they.) You can watch it if you like, As for me
and my house…

2. The old Devil is making a strong push for one world church. I
question the wisdom of listening to Tel Evangelist, Radio Preachers,
Watching Evangelistic programs put out my false prophets. Some of what
we hear is bound to stick… Our Acceptance of them is strengthened. …
It's not good!

My home church was a strong UPC Church with a strong Pastor… I attended
that church for 22 years. until it started going liberal.

I believe that one of the main reasons for the fall was that the Pastor
started attending the local preacher's breakfast. Inviting the local
Rescue mission (Baptist) to come and talk about their work (which does a
lot of good in the community). The Gidions to talk about spreading the
Word. Etc.

When I approached the Pastor with my concerns. He suggested that it was
his church and that if I did not like it I could leave. I did.

Today that church… well lets just say we need to pray for them. It
started with consorting with the enemy.
