You need to pray on this one. My honest opinion, from experience, I find that
preachers who ARE NOT book learned tend to be misdirected more often than
not. A prime example was posted a couple weeks ago when someone mentioned
that the pastor preached on temperance, thinking it had something to do with
having a temper.

A "book learned" minister could probably have given you a 3-series bible class
on the subject, where the word originated, psycological impact, social impact,
maybe even economic impact, using example after example. So not only do
you know that you are supposed to have temperance (or be temperate), but
you will have a FULL and ACCURATE understanding of what it really means.

Let's face it, the Bible does NOT have all the answers...that's why God gave
us BRAINS to establish schools and write books...AND READ!!!
