> Once I put my tithe in the plate its none of my business how my pastor use's
> HIS money that he receives from the tithe.
I tend to disagree here. The church is supposed to operate like a corporation,
at least in terms of the finances and trustees and officers. There should be
an
accounting for EVERY PENNY that goes into the church, and that includes
TITHES! Now, once the tithes are distributed in the form of SALARY to the
minister, THEN and ONLY THEN does it become none of our business...
> I am blessed beyound mesure, Does the Paster desurve less? He watches
> for my sole!
I hope this was all intentional...otherwise I'm going to have to have a talk
with
your pastor about another auxiliary in your church.

> Its no ones business if I buy a new computer or a new anything... as long as
> I pay my tith and give in the offering as God prospers me and pay my
bills...
> God will bless
And to be honest, it's really no one's business if you are paying tithes or
not,
unless of course you hold an office or position at the church.
> If you dont want to give... Dont wory about it! Hold on to it! God does not
> need your $.
True, but the church does. I believe God will sustain a work whether offerings
are up to par or not, but many churches have lost faith in this area, making
way
for fund raisers every week, instead of tending to God's business of going out
soliciting souls. So it becomes a vicious circle that is not easily broken.
> He will just bless those who are willing to give with more so they can
> give more.
I truly agree with this. A sister testified one time about how God had been
blessing her. Her main statement was, and she said it repeatedly, "Pay your
tithes, and give a lot of money!"
I have adopted this principle in my own life, and I find that I have to freely
give.
The more I give, the more I have to give. I gave my sister a car (not a hunk
of
junk, either), and God blessed me with two brand new ones (not neons
or escorts either)!!! I have also given generously to people in need, and one
of them questioned me about the amount...I told him..."I give it to you today
it will be in my mailbox tomorrow...it's just money"
I'm glad God operates in this way...giving is such a positive investment!
were truly Apostolic we would give all.... Read Acts 2
I'm not a preacher, only trying to be a saint. >>
