Amen Bro. Tyler! About the signs and wonders following believers: I
often here this statement made from the pulpit. "The reason we don't see
signs and wonders today is because people don't have respect for the
ministry." Has anyone else heard this statement made? Since when did
signs and wonders follow those who respect the ministry? I've heard this
statement; " The reason Ethiopia is having revival is because the people
respect the ministry so highly." When the disciples could not cure the
child in Matthew 17, Jesus said "this kind goeth not out but by prayer and
fasting." Signs and wonders do not hinge on worshipping the "ministry",
but on prayer and fasting. Prayer and fasting is going to bring about a
move of God, not the preacher.
Our church is currently experiencing revival because we are having a 24
hour prayer chain and constant fasting. Not because we worship our pastor
or because he is a great man. He is a great man, but that and respect for
him is not bringing revival. It's the prayers and fasting of all of us
saints.
God Bless,
Sherry
