Lets see here...

2 days at 8 hours/day for 2 people at $35/hr = $56000.00 before taxes

figgure 30% taxes, federal, state, and local, leaves $39200.00

Mortgage= $800*12 = 9600	leaves 29600
2 car payments at 400 each	leaves 20000
car insurance at 600/yr/car	leaves 18800
health insurance 600/month	leaves 11600
tithes at 10% leaves 7680
offerings at 5% leaves 9640
clothes at $1500/yr each	leaves 6640
groceries at $100/week leaves 1440
electricity $100/mon leaves 240
gas $50/mon leaves -360
water $40/mon leaves -840
telephone $40/mon leaves -1320

Plenty of money? I think you better reconsider and work more days of
the week! I know $56K sounds like a lot to a graduating college
student, but I used to live in Northern Kentucky, and $50K is cutting
it rather tight to raise a family comfortably nowdays. Notice I did
not allow for vacations, car repairs, house repairs, savings, etc.
Now, if such a couple lives in an apartment and never has kids, then
maybe, but how do you run a music studio in an apartment? Also, such
a studio implies business liability insurance, advertising expense,
etc. not to mention musical instruments, recording equipment, etc.
