I can't answer to the biblically symbolic implications
of the locusts (except *I* think as executors of the
judgment of God) but it is my understanding that honey is
symbolic of the Holy Spirit.

From personal experience: when I was in SERE (Survival,
Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) in the Air Force, we
were taught how to survive on the land behind enemy lines.
Some of things taught included how to survive on the
locally available plants, animals and insects.

Two things: NEVER eat flies. Ants and grasshoppers are
good.

I'm not trying to be gross, either, but when you're
starving, ants and grasshoppers are good grub. You must
remember to remove the legs of the grasshopper, or you
will be in for some trouble when they start flexing on
the way down....

Bro. Steven

p.s. Does the UPC, Pakistan have a web site? Can you
tell us something of life in Pakistan? I thought
Pakistan was going through some sort of Muslim
fundamentalist "revival." Can you shed some light on
that? BTW, welcome to the list!!!!
