I believe you were the one who posted to the effect since the doctrine
didn't exist at the time I don't have to prove it's oposition.

Nope, he is the Chief Cornerstone, not the only stone. The point of
referance, known to be true.

Now go back and re-read what I posted. I did't say to build on a man. I
said to build on the chief cornerstone(Jesus) and the Apostles finished
the foundation w/ Peter binding it all together.

Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and
prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone]; Ephesians
2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy
temple in the Lord: 1 Peter 2:6 Wherefore also it is contained in the
scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious:
and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded.

Here only states Jesus has the keys to death and hell. He expressly gave
the keys to heaven to Peter. Jesus is the door, but Peter has the keys.
As for the "H"RCC, just pull out the Apostles setting up a "board" to run
things so they could preach. The Pope's position is more like chairman of
the board; Peter was never the chairman, he was brought before his
brethrene to explain himself(Pope doesn't do that). Like most of their
dogma, a little in context reading starts shining the light through the
holes.

Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou,
Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed [it] unto thee, but
my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee,
That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the
gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matthew 16:19 And I will give
unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt
bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on
earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Who gave the plan of salvation to the Jews? to the Samaritians? to the
Gentiles?

When did I say anything contrary to this?

Yup, but he had a special purpose - to open the door to salvation for each
group.

>just as Paul was and others back then and now.

Paul was special too, he was the Apostle to the Gentiles. EVERY ONE God
uses is special. Each person has a specific job to do.
