Mike Harvey writes:

The revelation of the God Head is the Foundation that the true church
is built upon... any other (Trinity) is on the sand.

I reply:

When these scriptures were written the doctrine of the tinity didn't
exist so I would say that there was no need to prove a doctrine that
went against trinity. Does this add to salvation, do we need to
believe in the Oneness to be saved? Are we built upon a doctrine
that even Oneness people don't agree on, as to certain explanations
example theophanies? I am a firm believer in the Oneness but I
certainly will not say that people have to believe in the Oneness to
be on the foundation and I hope you don't believe that Oneness belief
is part of salvation. Some trinitarians will go that far, say you
have to believe the trinity to be saved. We are built upon the
Petra, Rock, Petra does not mean doctrine, it means Rock and there is
no text that I know of that says that doctrine is a Rock but
scripture does say that Jesus Christ is the Rock.
