Me:
Actually Bro., cats were considered gods and were worshipped.  Now, if you
can't have a Christmas tree in your house because someone somewhere in
history used it for a pagan symbol, how is it that people can have the
ACTUAL pagan gods in their houses?

Let me take this opportunity to mention some other things used in pagan
worship:

Sex
Knives
Bowls
Cups
Crosses
The Bible 
Prayer
Altars
Children
  
You get the idea...
