The revelation is not the Rock, Jesus Christ is the Rock.  We are not 
built upon a revelation, we are built upon Jesus Christ.  We are not 
built upon a doctrine, how many agree on all points of the Godhead, 
even Oneness don't all agree, example theophanies.  If we are built 
upon a doctrine it can be shaky ground, constantly having to change 
your foundation ground.  I am built upon the Rock, Jesus Christ, the 
chief corner stone, there is no other Rock. Not Peter, not a 
doctrinal statement , but the Rock, the solid Rock, Jesus Christ.
