Hey Sis. I was glad to see someone from Rusk.  Just this last year 
friends
that I met thrue my husbands moved there and we haven't had much 
contact
with them since.  Do you know a Brother Lewis that is an officer? 
Only been
married about four years.Has a very sweet wife and teenage daughter? 
both
blonde? and all three are fairly short? He is quite a character.  For 
the
life of me I can't think of their last names.  How many UPCS does 
Rusk have?
Because the last we knew they were still going.

First of all...it is BROTHER Josh Allen of Rusk UPC! :->  AND YES!  I 
know Brother Lewis!  (Lewis Garrat, I think?) When you said officer I 
thought, sunday school officer?  what? :-) Then I thought about our 
correction officers!  Then I thought of his daughter...I think it is 
kathy sweet?  He is VERY funny.  He likes to make fun of me dancin--I 
go around in circles and fling my arms like a ballerina in fast 
forward! (I think this is a thread in itself...hint, hint...Brother T,
 How do you dance in the spirit? :->).  Right now, he is housing a 
german foreign exchange student.  She has received the Holy Ghost 
with the evidence of speaking in tounges...It took us a while to 
figure out it wasn't German :) They are still goin, but it's been a 
while since they've been.  I think they work and may be sick.  We 
only have ONE UPC in rusk.  We just built a new sanctuary (it was 
prophecied about--15 years ago!  We are VERY excited) and our crowd 
went up from 130 to 300 after our 5th sunday singin...our choir is 
awesome!  I should send a tape!  =>  We WERE 1st UPC but since almost 
the whole town of Rusk is coming, we changed it to 1st Church on the 
Hill UPC.  BTW:Speaking of the whole town, I have to prayer requests--

     1) Rusk schools are overcrowded with Apostolics, but I live in 
Jacksonville (Side by side with rusk, almost) and I am the ONLY 
Apostolic there.  Pray for me...and that brings up the next issue:
     2) My mom; laura allen, is baptist.  I told her a couple years 
ago that I was UPC and she didn't let me go till this year.  (I'm 
only 15)  Now, she doesn't know I'm still Apostolic and I'm having a 
hard time insinuating (without lying) that I'm just a VISITOR.  
Please pray, and send advice if possible!  She still hasn't let me be 
baptized in Jesus' name.  :-(  And my pastor won't baptize me until 
she says OK.  Should I ask another church to baptize me?  Well...n-e-
way...PRAY!  

And Sister Kathy: You can go ahead and email me at my personal 
address (don't want to rile up the Head Huffapaloozas! =>)  Love 
always in Christ!
