I write:
The UPCI is a fellowship of pastors, preachers, ministers which are
licensed by the United Pentecostal church...nothing more nothing less.
Yes, it is a man made organization.
Organization: n. The act or process of organizing or of being organized;
also: the condition or manner of being organized.
Organize: vb. To develop an organic structure. To arrange or form into
a complete
and functioning whole. To set up a administering structure for. To
arrange by
systematic planning and united effort. To join in a union. also;
unionize
There is a reason for Orgs such as the PAW, ALJC, UPCI, etc etc.....
While some think it is just down right evil for a fellowship such as
these
to form, I see nothing wrong with a structured setting to base the
fellowship on.
Just a added comment, it is always good to know that when or if trouble
arises,
ie: lawsuit, needing to build a new church, home missions, etc. ALL of
these
organizations are able to help financially to get that particular church
going in the
right direction. In my case, I have seen the UPCI do a lot more positive
than the
negative that is being thrown around here on higher-fire lately.
I dont understand why people are so against organization. Bible says not
to
forsake the gathering together.... Should the UPC dismantle its
fellowship,
and forsake the assemblying?
IMO, and I know I will get stones thrown for it....I see a lot of 'chip
on the
choulder' syndrome when people speak out against ANY organization within
the Oneness movement.
I think it is time, that instead of whining or crying about them, or
finding fault
with them, its time we as Oneness Apostolics begin to lift each other up
and
quit trying to knock each other down. Don't you realize all this
bickering is not
of God??? Neither is confusion.........therefore.....organization is
good.

Just tossing out about .20 cents worth, and shutting up again for awhile.
