Our cat, Tornado, used to open doors by turning the doorknob with his
paws.  We lived in a very old house with embossed doorknobs, so he
could grip them with his claws.  Now we are in a newer house, and he
has been declawed, so he cannot pull that stunt anymore.

I broke him of that while he was still a kitten.  If I don't work, I
don't get paid.  If I don't get paid, I have no money to buy cat
food.  He understands.
