The Truth Hurts

One day an older couple stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch
during a long trip. After a they'd been back on the road for a
good number of miles, the wife remembered that she'd left her
sunglasses on the table back at the restaurant. The husband fussed
and complained about having to go back, but he suddenly quieted down
as they neared the restaurant. As he got out of the car, he said in a
humble voice, "While I'm in there, I might as well get my hat too."
