I weep inwardly when I realize how far the UPC has drifted off course from the
original intent of those Godly men and women who hammered out the original
constitution uniting the PA of JC and the PCI organizarions.  

I was told by one of our district superintendants that most of the hard line
doctrine was coming out of the Southern District, which was, at that time,
stronger than the National body.

I have also ascertained, from my own observation, that the dominant form of
worship has come from the deep South.

Songs of WORSHIP have fallen by the wayside-- replaced by songs of PRAISE
which incite shouting, foot stomping and running around the building.  Deep,
heartfelt WORSHIP is a thing unknown to most of the people.  This is sad, sad,
sad.

I fear that the "truth has been held in unrighteousness." by some prominent
leaders.
