CARY WROTE:
May I extend a friendly challenge? Take another look at the history
of your
organizational fellowship. How far back can you trace its lineage,
through
specific groups or individuals, without bumping into Azusa Street or
Topeka, Kansas?

The Lord bless you!

ME:
I yield. I was totally missing your point. I thought that you meant
that the church of Jesus was established on the day of pentecost and
shortly thereafter diminished to nothing. Then, it came into north
america with the Trinitarian movement. I see this was not your
message at all. However, I do believe that there were small
organizational oneness groups before the movement of north america
swept the nation...in fact we have church records at our church of a
cell church called "Assembly of Pentecost revival" that was begun in
1836. It was started by our pastor'ss great-grandfather and finally
evolved into our present-day UPC assembly. But, don't consider this
contention...only simply facts that God's truth was present in
assemblies. :) God bless you and I apologize! :)

I affirm the biblical foundation for a relationship with God: We are
to turn away from doing wrong, be baptized in the name of Jesus in
accordance with scriptural examples, receive the marvelous gift of
the Holy Spirit, and embrace a daily walk with Him. (See Acts 2:38)
