Sis. Laurie Gibson spake:

* How 'bout Alan Keyes? Does anyone know if he'll even have a chance? I heard a
* Focus On The Family broadcast about him and was very impressed. I wish we had
* more God fearing people with backbone to stand up for what they believe!
* Most men running for President try to tickle everyone's ears. Kind of like
* some preachers I guess ha-ha. No one I know though!            =)

Personally, IMO (and Richards, cuz I saw it on his home page), Alan Keys
is probably the closest, most passionate, conservative candidate that is
in the Republican race. I hate to say this.... but, Keys probably doesn't
have the support to be nominated for President of the U.S. I've heard a
couple of speeches, read an article by him that was excerpted from a speech
from the Louisiana caucases and the man is quite brilliant. A highly
educated level headed guy. I've not heard whether he is going to be on
the ballot on super tuesday here in Illinois.

If I had to choose from the remaining.... in Forbes, Buchanan, Dole,
and Alexandar. My choice would have to be the order they are mentioned
above. Alexandar is one of the engineers of Goals 2000 program (which I
despise), Dole seems to me to be a moderate repub much like Clinton is a
supposed moderate democrate. So, I don't see much a difference in the
presidency with Dole in comparison to Clinton. Just party affiliation.
Buchanon and Forbes are getting negative press about what they stand for.
So maybe either of them might not be too bad. I dunno, I don't know
enough about either Forbes or Dole to call that one yet. I like the idea
of Forbes with the flat tax. And generally, Buchanon comes across kinda
stately..... I'm just not sure....
