Removal of Jan

I have been on the list for nearly two months now and have
read many of Jan's posts. Though they were sometimes
directly opposed to my belief and interpretation of the bible,
they were always thought provoking.
His last post (re: holiness standards) was a great comfort to
me because I do not have the scholarly background to
defend my postition of this issue (though I probably ought to).
It's true that Jan's tone has never been one of kindness. I
find this very sad and I think it sometimes closes people's
minds to his points, but as Christians I would think we could
overlook/forgive this and simply pray that God change his
heart to be more gentle. None of us is perfect. *I* fall short
in many ways.... gentleness is something Jan seems to lack,
that's all. Though he certainly has conviction.
I am very thankful that I received that post anyway. I do hope
Doris didn't take it as any personal attack. I would never want
anyone to be hurt by a post to higher-fire, but considering
what I've seen from Jan before I thought his tone was rather
nice in that particular post.
Anyway, I hope that he will be allowed to return to higher-
fire in the future.
