Thank you for protecting me :)

Greetings Saints in Jesus Name!

Today is a wonderful new day the Lord has given.

>From Sis. Doris in response to Jan's posts yesterday that I rejected
in the A.M.:

 >>thank you so much for trying to protect me against the mail that Jan from
Norway sent anyway. He also included your reasons for not sending the mail
   through Higher-fire.
Though he tried to hurt me, I have to tell you that he was not successful.

My heart goes out to him, as it does to so many, that reject God's wonderful
truths. I pray that someday God will give him the revelation of who HE
really is. However, it has always been my policy when something like that
occurs to think to myself "If you're right, fine, nothing can happen to me
that way either....but what if I'm right...... :)!"

Nevertheless, I do think it to be a good idea that letters like that will
not be sent through higher-fire. It was not my intention to be offensive to
him, for that will never win him to the full truth. I think higher-fire is a
wonderful tool for Oneness Apostolics to fellowship with each other without
being abused by bible scholars. <<

I don't know how many of Higher-Fire got Jan's personal email yesterday.
Let me say this for the record. My opinion of the posts were contentious,
disrespectful of the one he's replying to, and generally inflammatory enough
that if I heard this during a at church service (before, during, or after),
I'd have been embarrased for one speaking these things in a sanctified setting.
Since I currently have duties of moderator and list co-owner. I have the
privelege of sending it back with an explanation. Maybe I'm at fault because
I didn't tell him what to TONE down or re-word. I could very well be in
error in not explaining what exactly he needed to tone down. At the time
of the original post rejection, I had read the post several times and just
couldn't allow it to go through in its present form.

Then what happened was the "modified" post (with accusations directed towards
me) was sent to the people (how many, I don't know) of the list by which he
evidently used an actual copy of the e-mailing list of Higher-Fire to go
around the listprocessor for delivery. If you notice, the posts that come
from Higher-Fire should have a "owner-higher-fire" as the sender of the
post. I received the regular notification of the post for approval, which
I never approved through the listprocessor, in fact that very post is probably
still active to be posted to the list if I wanted to. I haven't discarded
the post from the listprocessor either. A few minutes later, I (and evidently
others) had received a copy of the now personal email from Jan (because he
must have used the blind-carbon-copy function of email to hide who the letter
is addressed to (at least that is my guess)) to distribute the post that was
originally reject and now modified.

When I was made aware of why I let this go through the list yesterday, it
dawned on me that this was, in legal terms, a pre-meditated act of
disobedience. Planned, deliberate, and calculated.

Further communications with him in the day revealed to me (and carbon-copied
to Richard Masoner for later reviewal) a continued contentious state of
mind and disregard for other people on the list. I don't think I was asking
anything unreasonable of Jan, if I was please pray for me, write me, and
correct me. I informed him, that due to his willfull deliberate act, that
his posts to Higher-Fire will not be approved until Richard has returned
in a couple of weeks. At such time, Richard can review what has happened
and rule officially. The returned response was still contentious and now
was starting to lay blame on a particular oneness apostolic organization
and accusations directed towards me continued to increase. In my opinion,
as reading his responses, he was unwilling to change his spirit or have a
change of heart in the matter. I am under the opinion that his motives were
selfish and belligerant with complete lack of respect for authority. If he
had a repentant heart or showed a shift away from spreading blame (or something
to show me that he was pulling back on his own reigns), things would have been
different. Under my current understanding of the situation, I unsubscribed
Jan from the Higher-Fire list. Again, if I'm in error, please pray for me,
write me, and correct me.

Let it be known that any other email received by Jan, since it is not coming
from the Higher-Fire list, is personal and not in any way is approved. Until
a time that Jan can show good conduct and fellowship, the listprocessor will
ignore his email to Higher-Fire.

I'm truly saddened that this has happened.
