Greetings Saints in Jesus Name!
As moderator duties have been put on my shoulders solely for the next 2.5
weeks of time (until Bro. Richard is back and can give me a break) I'm
posting this message as guidelines for posts to Higher-Fire.
I'll reject posts that...
1) ... have an abusive tone or a lessor-than-desirable discernable
spirit of message (anotherwords a post that might make you
or Higher-Fire look bad if someone were to view the archives)
2) ... are from non-Oneness living folks that *continually* don't get
or understand the various arguments about Oneness Holiness theology.
There's a lot to be said about Oneness Holiness theology to folks
that have never had the revelation of the Jesus Name and the Oneness
of God. To folks that have not experienced it, I've got news for you.
If you waiting for us to explain it in such a way that you'll understand
the spirit of all the concepts and precepts to a point where you'll
be able to *logically* grasp some of this in your mind, you may never
ever be mentally satisfied. Because much of where the Oneness Holiness
folks come from is from the plane of the revelations mentioned above,
often times people that aren't "in the know" are talking on a different
plane.
When that happens, the discussion eventually evolves to a comparison
of "apples" and "oranges". With the message being a "choice" of fruit
to enjoy possibly persuading none. The Oneness Holiness saints are
speaking from personal revelation (apples). All else speak from mental
gymnastics (oranges). Hopefully, orange bearers will be able to become
apple bearers also.
Since I can't personally hand out revelation (and neither can you)
because that is the Holy Ghosts job to quicken ones mind, I hope that
the posts to Higher-Fire are prayerfully read so that maybe the light
bulb of revelation illuminate above you. For as Jesus said "Flesh and
blood has not revealed this to you....."
3) ... that argue from the non-Oneness Apostolic Holiness viewpoint
just for the sport of arguing.
4) ... attack ones character, intelligence, or integrity (which is much
akin to raising a sword against God's annointed)
5) ... are "me too!" posts with no substance in them. If you have to
give a "me too!" post, do it with how the previous post blessed you
and it has affected you and your relation with God, spouse, family,
other saints, etc.
However, with all that said, I will approve posts that ...
A) ... exhibit proper spirit and tone
B) ... edify the saints with testimony
C) ... edify the saints with praise reports
D) ... are part of praise cascades
E) ... edify the saints with the word and explanations thereof (like the
way Phillip evidently explained with sufficiency to the Ethiopian Eunuch
in so much as the Eunuch knew his need to be baptized in water via
immersion in Jesus Name)
F) ... edify the saints by explaining a more perfect way (like the way
Paul explained to Aquilla and Pricilla about "a more perfect way")
G) ... are prayer notices
H) ... are announcements of Oneness Apostolic email addresses or URL
I) ... and such like (heh, heh, heh... against such there is no law)
Hopefully you get the picture.
Initial violations of the NUMBERED posts will initially result in the post
being forwarded back to the violator with a warning as well as the post being
DISCARDED from the list. If the violations continues, then your email address
will be put on a list that will automatically reject posts from your address
making it much easier for me not to view your posts for approval.
I'd rather not take the steps to force a silence on your part because of
apparent lack of control or spiritual discernment. If warnings don't work,
then I'll have to resort to the means of putting the violator on the list
that will tell the list processor to reject all posts to Higher-Fire.
