Praise the Lord Brother Brandon:
I guess that you believe in playiny sports with women such as
Touch Football. This also could be that you would like to play water
polo with women, that is grabbing women to get the ball for a
score. Some would classify this as a "koping a feel".Is this what
your tring to explain to everyone here of what sports you would like
to play with women? Please be carefull in your statements for they
leave you with play.God bless and take care.Get the feel?

This was something I guess I need to set straight. I do Not believe
in letting women and men play together in such close contact such as
touch football for as you pointed out, things can go wrong in
something like this. The sports I referred to was things such as
softball, volleyball, horseshoes and etc..
Things such as swimming, I do not agree to mixed gatherings. When
girls from my local church were invited to my home by my mother to
swim, I went and spent time with my grandparents. the only females I
have ever swimed with are my own family or when I was 3 and before we
got into church.
As I wrote the friends I mentioned are from other Okla, churches that
are very strict thugh I will not mention any names. I did not mean
to put down Bro. Kilgore if I came across that way. My pastor is
related tohim and also I have enjoyed listening to Bro. Kilgore's
messages over the years. Everyone that I know that has actually set
foot in his building was blessed there.
All I was saying was that some churches and pastors take it a little
too far sometimes. For example one of my friends who pastors here in
Ada, Ok was booted out in 1990 for being too strict. This is why i
don't go to his church any more.
Standards are mostly to set us apart from the world. There are
certain ne plainly spelled out in the scripture, and others that are
borderline in a gray area. For example, the UPC overall preaches
against smoking. There is nothing that plainly dispells it in the
bible but the scripture that says not to defile the temple of God we
use to cover it since smoking does destroy the human body. I want to
repeat something I wrote earlier. On thinggs that God has not
plainly spelled out in the bible, God will open our eyes to how he
wants us to act on that issue. For example the beard is not put
forth in the new testment that I know of but God has not commanded me
personally to wear or not wear one. I just follow my pastor on this
one since I am a musican and this is what he wants. But if god tells
me otherwise I will follow God even if i lose fellowship with my
church. I hope this will help clear up what I said earlier. If not
just email me and I will try again. May God lead and guide us into
what he wants us to be!
