Holiness

I have been flying through my mail and I saw the discussion on holiness. So
I thought I put my two cents in too (for what they are worth :)). Anyway, to
me holiness is the most beautiful thing in the world. It is an outward
reflection of your inward spirit. If you love God you want to please him in
every aspect. If the bible says don't wear pants, my love for God prevents
me from doing so. Same thing with cutting hair, wearing shorts, mixed
bathing....If it displeases God I won't do it. So why argue about it? Should
we not always say "what more can I do to please you?" instead of "how can I
make this commandment (or whatever) as easy for me as possible?". Ever
notice the first thing a backslider does, she cuts her hair. Wonder why? My
thought on this is that our outward appearance is a reflection of our walk
with God and our separation from the world. Doris
