IMO, the *best* way to minister to people in a nursing home
is to just visit them one-on-one! Most of the people there
*love* having visitors. At the nursing home ministry my
wife and I were a part of in Texas, we'd go on Mother's Day
to hand out carnations -- that sort of thing (in addition
to the regular Thursday night meetings). It's a blessing
to the residents, and a blessing for the person who gives
the blessing ;-)

For holding meetings, that kind of thing, just call around.
Many nursing homes are glad to have "outsiders" come in with
some sort of activity, be it a church meeting or whatever.
