No grudges at all OEystein! I have enjoyed your contributions, even
if I have not always agreed with them.

Rev. Robert Trapani, a friend of mine, once told me that he gets a new
bible every couple of years or so because he mark them up a lot when
he reads them. I asked him if he didn't miss those marks when he got
a new Bible. He told me, "no, because the reason I get a new Bible
every few years is because a lot of those marks are *WRONG*!!!"

He realized that as he grew in the Lord, his understanding of what was
true changed somewhat, and a margin note he may have made a few years
ago he came to realize, with additional study, was actually incorrect.
The new Bible gave him a chance to start over without the bias of
previous mistakes, and also with some additional room to put new marks
in instead.

I hope I have not come across as judgemental just because I challenged
your statements. It is sometimes my own rather obnoxious way of
searching for more truth. If I challenge you, you will (it is my
hope...) explain yourself more fully in the attempt to persuade me to
agree with your viewpoint.

I hope you will at least check in on this list from time to time by
way of the archives, which are available for www browsing by anyone,
whether on the list or not. If I say something that you particularly
like or dislike, I encourage you to send me private email so we can
discuss it.

In Christian Love,
Bob Brown
