* Feature Article *
*******************

This is the first issue of CIN. I hope that all who get this e-mag will
find it full of useful things that will help you in your Christian walk.
So for the First feature article of this newsletter will be on how the
CIN came into being and it's purpose.
One day on the way to work, I was trying to think of some way of getting
the gospel of Jesus out on the net and also how to help other Christian
better
themselves for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Then popped the idea into my head
"a newsletter". So this is how this newsletter came into being. My hopes are
that it will help many Christian stay focus and maybe bring those that are
walking the fence a greater desire to serve the Lord.
Since this newsletter is sent by email so I am trying to keep it short.
If you have any ideas as to how to improve this newsletter and what kind of
things you might want to see, please leave me a message. I am always looking
for ways to further the Kingdom of God. This newsletter is a Christian
newsletter, there may be topics sometimes that you don't agree with, and
then
you may write one that not everyone agrees with. Please share your ideas and
comments, It helps us all grow in the Lord. I will be adding a "letters to
the
editor" section in the next newsletter. So please write and let me know what
you think.
For those of you that are wondering about cost. This letter is free! I
send
a copy to every email address I see online. If you know of someone who you
think would like a copy please send us their address and we will send the
mag
to them. There is a Classified section to this newsletter, It helps with
some
of the online time expense that we use to send this mag. If you are
interested
in advertising in this newsletter, please send an email address asking for
rates in the classified section.
I hope that is mag will be a great witness to the gospel of Jesus
Christ.
Please pray for that God will use it.

* SERMON NOTES FEB 96  *
************************
You choose who you will serve!
"No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love
the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye
cannot
serve God and mammon." -- Luke 16:13

I would like to speak for just a little bit about "Who do your serve?"

Each day we get up, get ready for work/school. We push the time as much
as we can to fit everything we have to get done into the 24 hrs ahead.
There
is only one BIG problem. When are we going to have time to serve God? Now
I know we all must work or go to school, and those things are inportant.
But
what do we do in our "free" time? Do we spend it watching things that are
not Godly, Do we spend time on things that are not really important? I have
personally faced this over the past few months. It seemed that from the
time
I got up to the time I went to sleep, I was busy doing something. I finally
made up in my mind that I was going to spend time with God. So now I set
one
day out of each week that I call my spirit day. This does not take place of
of daily devotions, But gives me a day that I spend praying, fasting,
reading
God's word, and other christian material. These days sometimes end up on a
day
I have work or have school. I overcome this by praying silently while at
work
and keeping my mind on the things of God. Then When I get home, I spend the
rest of the day as my "spirit day". You may not have the chance to spend a
whole day with God. Even if we spent a few minutes each morning with Him,
it
would make our day better. So my question this month to you will be this.
"Are you going to serve God or the material things of this World?"
God bless you till next month.

                   23rd PSALM FOR BUSY PEOPLE

The Lord is my Pacesetter, I will not rush.
He makes me stop and rest for quiet intervals.
He provides me with stillness, which restores my serenity.
 He leads me in ways of efficiency, through calmness of mind;
   and His guidance is peace.
Even though I have a great many things to accomplish each day,
I will not fret, for His presence is here.
His timelessness, His all-importance will keep me in balance.
He prepares refreshment and renewal in the midst of my activity
By anointing my mind with His oils of tranquillity.
My cup of joyous energy overflows.
Surely harmony and effectiveness shall be the fruits of my hours,
And I shall walk in the peace of the Lord for ever.
