How can people with so many degrees and doctorates, people who are intelligent
and bright, be so STUPID! Knowledge, in some instances, is a dangerous thing.

First of all, they are not stupid, they are deceived. jesus, himself, said
that there were people who the devil had blinded and that he would talk in
parables so that they would not all convert and he would have to heal them.
you have to understand that they have a humanist world view, although many of
them confuse humanist with humanitarian. thus they want to raise humans to a
place where they should be, where god wants them, but since they're not god
they can only do so much. that's where the deception comes in.

they start to see benifits of being humanitarians and they start to incorporate
more and more questionable ideas. the means suits the end and the bite the
bait. it's only time until they're reeled to shore as another catch of the
devil.

but don't ever judge them - they at least know one verse of the bible - just
know them by their fruits. and pray for them that the lord will open their
eyes. many scientists and mathematicians are christians, take einstein for
example.
