Subject: TeleCommunications Law- Kurt Loder, MTV News, 2/17/96 


     I think the law is intended to stop obscenities, defined at the 
local level, from reaching minors, but I am not sure what adults can say 
to each other.  I wonder why Beavis and Butthead is not a federal offense.
The law is currently under review to see exactly what is "obscene", the 
ACLU (Anti-Christian Liberation Union, according to some of my friends)
wasted no time challenging that law.
