Robert,

Newbees of all categories fall for it. Of course, no sane newbie would 
use Unix will they <g>.  The "Good news" story was even repeated on 
national radio (P4 for locals) here! I phoned the radio reporter and 
informed him that he'd fallen for a hoax. Boy was he embarrassed! The 
next hourly news broadcast told that "ahem, it seems this was just a 
fake. Sorry 'baut that folks." :-)
