Here is the complete header for the annonymous email he is refering to:

    Return-Path: mix@anduin.gondolin.org
    Received: from kether.sephiroth.org (root@Fleming-John.collins.indiana.edu [149.159.23.4]) by eli.wariat.org (8.6.12/8.6.9) with ESMTP id WAA14393 for <rj@eli.wariat.org>; Sat, 3 Feb 1996 22:08:03 -0600
    Received: (from uucp@localhost) by kether.sephiroth.org (8.6.12/8.6.10) with UUCP id WAA14392 for rj@eli.wariat.org; Sat, 3 Feb 1996 22:52:49 -0500

Comments: This message did not originate from the address above. It was remailed by an anonymous remailing service. If you have questions or complaints, please direct them to <remailer-admin@gondolin.org>
    To: rj@eli.wariat.org

This is a well done remailer. It uses UUCP to isolate itself from
being traced.

bash$ nslookup anduin.gondolin.org

bash$ nslookup remail.gondolin.org

Nevertheless, if its name is registered with the NIC, then we should
be able to find out where it is. I find particularly interesting the
name of the system that forwarded this mail from the UUCP node to my
system: kether.sephiroth.org -- a sephiroth is an object in the
mystical gnostic heresay known as Qabalah.
