Some modems do not support the AT+FPS=... command (which is a violation
of the class 2 standard). There is nothing you can do, except have the
modem vendor fix the modem firmware.

That's really bad :-( - this is one aspect of the Courier that I didn't
test yet, but I assumed that it would work.
I will do some tests with this, and complain to USR Germany. Don't hold
your breath, they seem to have all died suddenly - I don't even get
auto-responses anymore.
