I've had such things too. If somebody will need, I will dig out the logs.
Fortunately the fax machine at the other did not crash.
Look at it in another way: You just uncovered a DoS attack against fax
machine. Now if the fa machine was Linux, it would be fixed tomorrow (or
even tonight), but it's Philips. Free software rules!

There is something frustrating about the quality and speed of Linux
development. I.e. the quality is too high and the speed is too high, in
other words, I can implement this XXXX feature, but I bet someone else
has already done it and is just about to release his patch to Linus soon...
