Fax Class 1 !!

Sure it has.  Please read the documentation: Class 1 is is NOT SUPPORTED.

The fact that there is class 1 code present doesn't mean it's usable - I
am working on it, but it's far from being finished (the parameter
negotiation phase is not complete, and the byte stuffing for minimum
scan line time is completely unwritten).

Actually, it worked pretty well :-) - it transmitted a page (which was 
in the wrong format [but try preparing the page with "g3cat -p 100"
beforehand, it *might* work then] so it *cannot* work yet), and correctly
determined that the other end didn't like the page - RTN is "retrain/
negative".
