(very) small problem receiving faxes

Hello,

I'm using mgetty 1.1.18 (latest 'frozen' Version from Debian 2.1)
together with an (old) 1&1 Speedster 14400U and Linux Kernel 2.0.35.
Sending and receiving of faxes works good enough for me, but I've still a
small problem: Neither the logfile nor the received email about an incoming
fax tells me the fax station id from the sender.

Here is what the logfile says (debug 5):

mgetty.config contains this:

------------------------------8<-----------------------------
debug 5
fax-id +49-7141-978250
speed 38400
port ttyS1
switchbd 19200
modem-type cls2
rings 1
------------------------------8<-----------------------------

As far as I remember correctely, the senders stations id was shown in
an older version of mgetty, but I'm not sure.

Can this be a configuration or an modem problem?

Thanks for your help.

Karlheinz.
